Discovery Activities
What is this?
The activities in this resource book provide opportunities for teachers to stimulate interest in a particular field of study.
Teachers may wish to develop whole units of work using the Show visit as a starting point for further investigation and research. It is suggested that teachers encourage students to collect as much information as possible at the Show.
Links are provided to suitable web sites and other educational resources at our Teachers Guide webpage.
The questions in the worksheets provided are such that children should be readily able to seek the answers from various exhibitors at the show.
Throughout the Show there are a number of Stewards who are able to answer questions and engage the children in an informative manner. They can be identified by a green lapel ribbon with the word STEWARD in yellow.
