Good afternoon staff, please find attached current grant updates, including opportunities, community notices and your responsibilities as applicants of previous grant rounds.

Please find attached November’s grant opportunities, sourced from Our Community grant’s newsletter, Grants Network Bulletin and other grant subscriptions. The latest Easy Grants Bulletin is also available from the Grant opportunities page which has great ideas for Council staff, as well as grant ideas for your local community, not for profit groups and networks. Many grants that Council cannot apply for, we can auspice or partner with a local community group and acquire funds that way. Feel free to discuss ideas you have with me if you need a sounding board. The latest Our Community Matters newsletter is also in, with interesting articles such as “Seven rules for work-life balance” (page 1) Workplace giving to charities (page 9), and Energy efficient loans on page 10 (bank loans used to purchase products or equipment that will save energy and/or lower carbon emissions).

Send grant updates to: grants@darebin.vic.gov.au or Julia Cirillo on 8470 8121
